I forgot to mention in my Mall of America birthday extravaganza post that we saw an American Girl store in the works. I might need to borrow a girl so I can go.

Halle and I have been WAITING for the AG store...we heard it was coming but didn't know when! We had talked about planning a trip to Chicago to go to the store there for a monumental birthday (12) but now this will perhaps save me some $$. You are MORE than welcome to come along when we go...it would be SO fun!
Oh, I would seriously LOVE TO! I'll bring my camera and take lots of fun pictures for you guys... and me, too!

The Mall of America location will be in a 20,000-square-foot, two-level space with a doll hair salon, cafe and party rooms.
It's supposed to open in November; I can't wait!
M&M and I are sooooo excited for this too! I thought about someday taking her to the one in Chicago, but it will be kind of nice (and bad for the pocketbook!) to have a store so close. It is fun to order online since it comes so quickly, but will be really cool to see the stuff in person. :) She's just disappointed it won't be open in time for her birthday!
