I'd talked about this challenge in 2010 but never made it happen:
* one family photo * MY family * each month * for an entire year *
Because it's way too easy to just let time slip by. While capturing other families.
And totally missing out on my own. I also want to take time in these posts to focus on the details - where we are at, how we are getting along, and things we are doing for fun. It might even make for a neat little scrapbooking project in the end (along the lines of THIS ONE).
We spent the afternoon running errands - hanging out at some of our favorite places (the bookstore, Target, Best Buy) in another city... just to shake things up :) Found a new sweeeeet spot - a Mexican bakery I've been wanting to check out for some time. Ordered pizza. Worked on homework. A typical day off.
I can't wait to see what this year brings, especially after the last. We're making plans and dreaming about the future.

Love this idea. We haven't taken a family picture in years, unless you count a church directory picture where I am placed so far down in the frame that my chin is cut off!
love it!!
Thanks and please feel free to use it as a bloggy-thing as well! (It would be fun to follow your families as well through the year.)
You always have the best ideas. I wish you and your family a happy and healthy 2011.
