It was more than just a reunion gig...

It was the perfect excuse to buy new dancing shoes :) I had a blast connecting with so many old friends, it was like stepping back in time 20 years. Here's a video clip from a photographer friend of mine:

I still have several sessions to post, including my first labor and delivery! Unfortunately, our vehicle was broken into during a recent session and I've been tied up closing accounts, having the window replaced, and redirecting a load of automatic payments... among other things.

It seems no matter how hard I try to stay focused, life gets in the way ;) Hope to be back soon with some pics!

The Kelli Belly | Minnesota Maternity Session

As most of you probably don't know, I hosted a scrapbooking retreat a couple of weekends back. Life has been... big. I'm taking time to reevaluate a few things, making sure I have my priorities in order. Anyway, the spring retreat has come and gone but I do have some AWESOME pictures of this lovely momma-to-be as a reminder of our long weekend. Some of you may remember Kelli from last year - she and Crystal (another longtime scrapbooking friend) were selling some really cool scrapbooking kits and handmade jewelry in an effort to raise money for breast cancer awareness. Kelli and Crystal have since started their own scrapbooking kit company: Thingamabobs & Doodads (click HERE for a peek). They have graciously donated a kit which I will be giving away to one lucky reader sometime in the next week!!!! (Tune in this weekend for details.)

So back to the pictures :) Kelli and I had a lot of fun messing around on the retreat house property; thankfully, the weather was as gorgeous as she was...

Molly's Boys | Minnesota Children's Photography Session

Another WAAAAAAAY delayed sneak peek! Two adorable little boys, full of zest...

After messing around bit indoors, we made our way to a nearby field.

The boys weren't too keen on the idea of walking barefoot in the tall grass... in fact, they weren't really happy about being outside at all.

But we made due :)

Big Brother | Minnesota Family Portrait Session

Wow, am I ever behind! As I mentioned before, I had a blast with my friend Kristen's belly during a maternity session some time back. (I will have the honor of photographing her delivery sometime in the coming weeks and cannot wait!!) In addition to capturing shots of Kristen in all of her pregnant glory, I managed to snag a few of her precious son... the Big Brother.
