Perhaps you could have waited another week or two? I snapped this shot yesterday, forgetting completely to take a picture today... while the kids were outside playing in several more inches of the white stuff! Perhaps I was a little preoccupied:
My mom had surgery to remove her tumor. The timing I suppose could have been better (you know, with Christmas in like two weeks). Not that she's been complaining. Things went very smoothly and she was talking and smiling when I stopped by. I even took a very scary picture of her incision; it will not be posted because I can barely stand to look at it. They say she will barely even have a scar. There appears to be no nerve damage and now we're just waiting for the doctor to confirm it to be non-cancerous (all the preliminary tests have looked great).
For those who have been praying... thank you.
I'm not sure if you've heard about the latest prize drawing but there are a few cool offerings from www.livingroomsdirect.com and www.allmodern.com. Be sure to check it out in THIS POST!
Have a super evening.

Tina,
Thankyou so much for keeping us posted on your Mom. She is a very special lady and our prayers are thanking God for a successful surgery and that there will be no cancer involved. Her recovery to be uneventful and she can get on with the celebration of His birth. That being only two weeks away!!
Tina,
Glad to hear things went well. I'll keep praying.
Blessings,

Tina, I had no idea that this was going on with your mom...that's what I get for absent at Bible Study & not checking your blog regularly! Please pass on my hugs to her (she always gives the best hugs!) & I will be praying for her & all of the family!
My mom is STILL in the hospital and bored out of her mind. She called this morning to ask if I was praying for her release.
I said no :)
When I found out she was on the cancer floor, I told her maybe she was supposed to be there praying for everyone else...
