As I mentioned in my last post, we were waiting for Mellissa to wake from her nap. We waited and waited.
And waited some more.
Finally she woke and headed upstairs for something to drink. We all waited quietly for her to notice all of the baby decorations, prizes, and gifts.
Nothing.
I went upstairs to order pizza (i.e. to stake out the kitchen). A few ladies followed. After several minutes of upstairs conversation, still nothing. Mellissa grabbed her drink AND WENT BACK DOWNSTAIRS!!
Time for Plan B.
As she was heading downstairs I told her to check out my latest blog entry. She did and this is what we saw:
At which point, we had our party.
