confessions of an heiress

Our Wednesday morning Bible study group has been taking part in "The Inheritance" by Beth Moore. It will be the first time our group will go an entire season without homework (there's a listening guide but no workbook). Imagine my elation when Julianne mentioned incorporating some journal time to the mix. The leaders at each table presented their ladies with a gift yesterday, to "enhance" the journaling experience. I created these for my group, each equally beautiful but slightly different (just like they are):

Another leader in the group has been creating not only discussion questions, but questions for our JOURNAL TIME at home.

Gotta love how the body of Christ comes together.

The verse is from The Message and is as follows:
This ressurrection life you received from God is not a timid, grave-tending life. It's adventurously expectant, greeting God with a childlike "What's next, Papa?" God's Spirit touches our spirits and confirms who we really are. We know who he is, and we know who we are: Father and children. And we know we are going to get what's coming to us - an unbelievable inheritance! We go through exactly what Christ goes through. If we go through the hard times with him, then we're certainly going to go through the good times with him! Romans 8:15-17
As believers are are joint-heirs with Christ. In this study, we are taking a deep look at what that means. Just a few weeks into it and I am already thrilled at what I'm learning.

For all of you scrapbooking/stamping fans, you'll notice a spattering of Glimmer Mist on the titles and verses (I'd blogged about it HERE last month). I am totally in love with the stuff. What the camera doesn't pick up here is the sparkle - just gorgeous.

Perfect for an heiress ;-)

Thanks for sharing that verse, Tina. What a great reminder to wait with eagerness for what our Father has for us!
I love the journals! I'd love to have directions! Great job, and such a treasure for your ladies.
