We spent our day at Grandma's pool, celebrating the last of summer and toasting to a new school year.
The kids weren't so keen on the "toasting the new school year" part... it turned into more of a wishing moment as they toasted to things such as no homework and a 4-minute school day.

Poor things.
Knowing that pool season will soon come to a close, I also spent time in the water playing with the kids (as I promised like three other times we'd been at the pool; I am a major wimp when it comes to feeling cold).
Tomorrow we'll spend a good portion of our day getting organized for Tuesday, both boys even have a little homework to turn in that first day. They've also made a special request for "the last lunch of summer vacation"... needless to say, we're looking at a full day before jumping back into the swing of things.

Transitions - gotta love 'em.

What's the 'special last lunch' gonna be? :) Miah's sooo excited for tomorrow! Senior year - I can't believe it. (You'll be saying that in no time!)
