someday when I'm gone...

This blog and my scrapbooks will be a voice that goes on. Someday when life flips upside down, this blog and my scrapbooks will be a reminder of everything important to me. Someday when I question God's plan for my life, this blog and my scrapbooks will point to His faithfulness.

These "somedays" are real, not only have I discovered this in my own life but in the countless others I've been touched by over the years. As I celebrate eight years with Creative Memories, I'm reminded of the importance of documenting and preserving our stories. The heart of scrapbooking isn't about the pretty paper or glorious images, it's about your story. Your family history. Connecting with future generations. Remembering moments. Celebrating the everyday. It isn't a guilt trip, nor a race to the finish line. It's about enjoying the ride.

Happy Anniversary! Thanks Tina for sharing your story with us and inspiring me in so many ways. It truly is all about the journey and the legacy.

Happy Anniversary Tina! You have really helped shape so many lives, first with sharing your stories and encouraging us to do the same with scrapbooking and now with your photography. You are one of the ripples in the pond, your circles just keep getting bigger and touching more and more people! What you just said is exactly what I want to do for G's baby albums and on up. I don't want it to be just cute baby pics (cuz really, there are tons!) but I want it to have that "meat" the stories, lessons, what's important to me. What I hope and pray for him, my goals for life, all the substance too. Thanks for encouraging that and pushing even this seasoned journaler. You are a valued friend.
