My weekend thus far has included a party, cleaning my house because it was raining, going to fireworks with my daugther (her first time), managed to fall off the car trying to get myself on the hood of the car to watch fireworks (me, not Sara) and now deciding what to do today.
Spent the weekend with my family playing yard games.

I had a fabulous meal shared with the company of family..read a story to a 4 1/2 year old and made a baby laugh! Oh and we took turns trying on "Groucho" glasses :))
Our neighbors came over last night for taco bar (and of course there was way too much delicious food), kids played croquet and basketball, watched Valley Fair and Mystic Lake fireworks from our driveway, along with lots of other fireworks in the neighborhood.
Went and watched fireworks in Apple Valley. Great display!

Had children over for lunch, went to friends for a cook-out, then fireworks with children. We saw a bald eagle on the ground in a park, eating "something". How cool is that, to see an eagle on Independence Day!
Happy Blogiversary! I spent the day with family and did what you did, pretty much. :) Despite the rain and not swimming, it turned out to be a fun night of fireworks, food, and fun.
