a turkey, pig, or pigeon?

Thought I'd share a few shots from my niece's birthday party on Sunday. Her mommy (Micaela) worked hard at assembling a very special cake. Unfortunately, her efforts were not fully appreciated by the family.

"Is it a turkey?"
"I thought it was a pig."
"It looks like a pigeon to me."

Clearly, they all need glasses because it is a PONY:

And I love this shot:

Saturday of course was our November Faithbooking Crop. It was SO NICE to be back! I'll be posting the November lesson later this week. Here's a shot from the day:

For those of you who were praying... I did get called in Sunday evening. Though I cannot share any details from the session here, please lift the mother and her family in prayer during this time of mourning.

I'm off to take care of business. Have a great day!

Tina - I'm still considering submitting it to Cakewrecks. Obviously, I have a lot to work on when it comes to cake decorating.

I'm proud of you for working with the photography organization. Not many would take on the work that you did.

I like the pink pony!

And, I will keep this mom in my prayers. K and I were talking about NILMDTS, my mom's first baby and your work last nite. I cannot even imagine...(as baby kicks hard inside me while I type)...Know that you are a blessing to that mom.
