Most of you know how strongly I feel about journaling... if not, you'll get the full scoop after attending one of our monthly faithbooking crops. Enter tonight's prize drawing and you could win this handmade journal, which was created using Dana Miron's paper. Just add a comment to this post (which is kinda like jounaling, by the way) and a winner will be drawn in the morning.

So, I am not very good at journaling but I sure would love to be better at it.
Tilly
Tina,
You have inspired me to create more meaningful albums and I have learned that the key to that is through journaling. As you may know, I can sometimes be a bit analytical. For a long time I would always worry about how people would read my journaling. I'm still working on it, but I think I have come to a point now where I can let go and be myself. They are MY scrapbooks afterall. I might as well write in my own words!
Thank you,
Crystal
Did you make this journal? It's adorable! I don't have a phobia about journaling in my albums, but I have a stack of journals at home that are "too pretty" to use!!! :) I have a problem, I know!
This is so cute-and I agree with Amy W-I'm good with journaling in my scrapbooks, but not so much in my free (ha ha) time.
I think people like to give journals as gifts. I know I have received a number of them, as well as have given them. My journaling goes in streaks. I have not journaled in a long time. I guess I have a fear of people reading them. That happened to me once and the person was angry about what I'd written. I wrote it for me!

Yes, I made it. All my galavanting on The Dark Side began with journal-making. Tilly's fault. And the retreat ladies. Those darned Archiver's gift cards didn't help either, nor did meeting Dana.
A slippery slope I tell you, but I digress...
Journaling is very good for you.
I have been doing alot more journaling the last six months or so!!
Writing is becoming a greater passion of mine these days... I write things down to remember what has been stirred up in my heart so I don't forget and I can then meditate on those things. As I meditate and ponder, the Lord stirs up more things that I have to write. What can I say but that, I'm hooked! Tina, thank you for opening up your heart and hosting the monthly faithbooking crops. Every month I'm intrigued by the "hint" you give us and can hardly wait to find out what it is we are journaling about. Sweet dreams 'til morning... Jodie M.
What a cute journal! Sometimes the "dark side" can be so tempting:) I have to admit that besides a "food journal" and journaling in the scrapbook I think I'm one of the few women that has never had a diary or journal just for my own "thoughts". I would love to give it a try:)

This is my first time blogging you are going to have to teach me the ropes!
