School's Out

Finally, summer vacation is here! The boys celebrated by having a couple of friends over after school - Rock and Pippy (aliases, mind you).

Pippy and Ren were in the same class and arrived home with a very special gift from their teacher: a DVD of photos for each child. Not only are there snapshots from the classroom, they are set to music. Apparently, these songs hold a great deal of significance for the boys because they were dancing and singing as they watched. Of course, I had to capture a snippet on video for you:

Meeley and Rock spent their time together playing chess, shooting hoops, and playing video games.

Yes, my friends, summer has officially begun.
