My coffee maker has died. I'm sure of it this time.
We go way back. My friend Sunny purchased this beauty as a wedding shower gift 12 years ago! Until that point, I was burning through at least two makers a year.
It's a sad day.
The classic signs have been there: sputtering, coughing, blinking, and buzzing. There was even a day when my hubby yelled upstairs to me, "I think it's going to explode!" That happened four brewing cycles ago. This little Energizer Bunny was unable to complete its last cycle - the death knell for my coffee makers.
It was a good coffee maker. I will miss it.

Oh no! My condolences to you on the loss of your beloved caffeine machine. We had one like it (Krups, right?) but ours only lived a couple years-what a treat that you had her for as long as you did!
